A tremendous turnout of over 200 citizens participated in a public input meeting for Zone Three of the New Plan for Mobile on Thursday, March 13. Zone Three includes the neighborhoods south of downtown including Oakdale, Maysville and Texas Hill.

The planning team being led by Keith Weaver of EDSA, Inc. led the meeting. Planning team members listened to citizens on what they would like to see included in the master plan. The brought up strengths and weaknesses about their neighborhood.

This was the first meeting for Zone Three and the third public input meeting, following those held in Zones One and Two. The next public meetings for each Zone will be held in the early summer. Stay tuned for more details on future meetings.
